At Team Fostering, our commitment to teamwork extends to providing comprehensive support and allowances for foster carers. We’ve grown from a small group into a network across the North East, Yorkshire, and East Midlands, working together to deliver not-for-profit foster care.

Personalised Support and Familiar Faces

Team Fostering offers personalised support to foster carers, including regular contact with Supervising Social Workers and access to training and support groups. Foster carers receive guidance on allowances and financial support, including advice on how much foster carers get paid and whether they need to pay council tax.

Building a Foster Carer Community

We encourage our foster carers to build connections and share experiences with one another through activity days, Christmas parties, and other events. New carers are paired with experienced ones to help them navigate their fostering journey and understand the ins and outs of fostering, including financial aspects such as allowances and tax considerations.
